Ralf Emig studied mechanical engineering and during his studies he focused on mathematical modeling and computer-aided simulation of different systems in the field of automotive engineering and fluid mechanics. In addition, he devoted several years of his studies to consulting and sales of hardware and software solutions. He advises and represents clients in various fields of technology, with a focus on automotive engineering, engine technology, telecommunications and software, both in grant proceedings and in complex contentious proceedings before German courts. Ralf Emig is involved as a tutor at the Institute for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and as a lecturer at the Humboldt University of Berlin for the master's program "Intellectual Property and Media Law" ("IMR").
